BJJ teaches us that size doesn’t matter you can keep yourself safe in high pressure situations as long as you understand your body.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) provides intense cardio vascular exercise. It incorporates resistance training of isometric pushing and pulling of bodyweight with both upper and lower body. Once ready, you are able to spar for 5-10 minutes, using your skills to protect yourself and advance your game in high pressure (controlled!) situations.

BJJ forces you to be present in the moment. When you’re presented with a physical challenge that provides a threat (controlled and safe!), you completely engage in the task at hand - leaving all your other ‘real-life’ problems at the door at least for an hour.
