Our Kids Program
Brazilian Jiujitsu (BJJ) is a great sport for children of all ages and backgrounds. We offer 2 types of kids program here at Djago.
What will your kids learn?
Self Defence
We teach children how to understand their bodies and protect themselves. By understanding their own body and physical principles they will learn the skills necessary to protect themselves in dangerous situations.
Discipline and Respect
A huge component of BJJ is respect for yourself and others. There is a belt system that children work towards, not only through their BJJ skills but also their conduct on the mats. We respect everyone and take care of our teammates.

Co-ordination
BJJ utilises both upper and lower body. Being able to connect the two so that you can follow through with movements is a huge part of the program. Children learn how to master their co-ordination helping them with other sports and tasks outside of BJJ.
Co-operation
BJJ is teamwork. We work as a team and all of the activties are done as pair-work. This helps develop children’s social skills beyond verbal interaction.
